How to be a Star™ workshops offer a wide range of engaging themes and topics, carefully designed to inspire and motivate young learners. Each workshop is thoughtfully developed to enrich the learning experience, supporting children in making meaningful connections and deepening their understanding of the world through creative exploration.

Through music, storytelling, movement, and other creative arts, learners are encouraged to actively participate, stimulating curiosity, building confidence, and developing communication and self-expression. A strong focus on wellbeing is woven throughout, creating a supportive and nurturing environment where learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are included and supported alongside their peers.

The workshops provide a dynamic, interactive, and inclusive setting that accommodates a range of learning styles, enabling every learner to engage, develop, and realise their unique creative potential​.​

 

Workshops Themes

How to be a Star™ workshops offer a wide range of themes and topics, each designed to inspire and engage young learners. Every workshop is thoughtfully developed to enrich and enhance a child's experience by helping them better understand their world through creative exploration.

Learners are encouraged to engage with various forms of creative arts, music, storytelling, movement, and more sparking their curiosity, building their confidence, and fostering a sense of expression. These workshops provide a dynamic, fun, and interactive environment where every child is supported in discovering their unique potential.

Benefits 

There is substantial evidence of the effectiveness of music in aiding learning. For young learners in particular, music can be extremely valuable in enhancing personal, social and educational development.
 

Working along side professional teachers, parents and the children, all the Workshops offered form part of a series of topics. Each workshop is unique and original and adaptable to suit your specific learning needs and outcomes.

How to be a StarTM Workshops - 'Learning Through Song' provides the perfect platform for for any children to experience, learning in a creative, multi sensory way. 

Our Aim 

The How to be a StarTM team always aims to provide an inspirational and positive experience for all involved. We understand how important it is for every child to have the opportunity to shine in their own unique way. We aim to build confidence, within a team work frame, we encourage every child to express themselves and contribute. Language and communication skills are given every opportunity to develop and flourish.

 

Providing a unique creative learning platform, our workshops enhance and extends national curriculum criteria, cross curricular creative learning whatever your educational setting might be. 

 

We have been providing high quality Workshops since 2008 and have extensive experience in working with children with SEND.

 

Our experienced and fully trained team have many years experience between them in working in educational environments - either as teachers, teaching assistants, Forest School and SEND and theraputic music.

 

All staff hold an enhanced DBS checks and are fully insured with Public and Employer Insurance.

HOW TO BE A STAR TM

  • Wonderfully colourful and interactive, this resource has been specifically developed to enrich educational topics, projects, assemblies, festive events at your school, nursery and community projects.
     
  • Through the mediums of music, song and storytelling, drama, movement and a myriad of creative activities, the lots of opportunities to explore and learn all about the topic of choice.
     
  • The series of story songs and workshops all compliment the other and can be experienced in any order or just stand alone - flexibility to suit all needs.
  • Available is a wide variety of topics which are taught through the mediums of original song, storytelling, music, drama and creative activities. A multi sensory approach provides the perfect creative platform and inspirational experience for everyone involved.
